You can charge your laptop and transfer data using these connections. In addition, video contents are transmitted via this connection. The new Intel® Core ™ processors now also support 4K ultra-HD content. Image processing and video streaming has 4K resolution and has great quality detail. With all this comprehensive performance for PC, laptop and 2-in-1 computers, the processors remain extremely economical.
New Intel® Core™ processors are especially secure
Intel® has not only focused speed and energy efficiency on the 7th generation of the processors, but has also given due attention to the important issue of security. In the seventh generation of Intel® Core™ processors, it is possible to store passwords encrypted in the hardware. These passwords can then be retrieved with biometric recognition. The Intel® Core™ processors work particularly well with Windows Hello. Windows Hello is fingerprint, facial, or iris recognition on Windows 10 devices. When the passwords are created and the PC is unlocked with fingerprint recognition, the entire system is particularly secure.
Intel® Ready-Mode technology for fast system start-up
If a laptop is equipped with the new Intel® Core™ processors of the seventh generation, you can wake up the device very quickly from the resting state. The laptop does not have to be lowered and re-started every time, but can be folded down easily. The notebook then goes into standby mode and is put into the operating state in just 0.5 seconds by Windows * Modern Standby and Intel® Ready-Mode technology (short: RMT). It is also possible to receive data from the Internet in standby mode. An open e-mail program keeps the new e-mails immediately available to the user. The new Intel® Speed-Shift technology is designed to work with several applications at the same time. So if you have an e-mail program, browser and music streaming all open at the same time, you can switch between the programs very quickly.
